Beware of Doing Business on eBay

This article is written in order to warn anyone who plans on selling on eBay for a profit. You need to be made aware of what they have done to a loyal eBay store owner who had been doing business on eBay for three years with literally thousands of 100% satisfied customers. A positive feedback rating of over 98% and had paid eBay thousands of dollars in fees, and percentages from the sale of our goods.
Fellow internet entrepreneurs, I feel you need to be made aware of what has happened to us on eBay so you can avoid getting caught up in the same web of deceit, lies, and complete abandonment by the evil empire known as eBay.
After doing three good years of business on eBay selling resell rights software, e-books, and website templates, we were informed that we were to be suspended for copyright infringement for an e-book package that a person named Tom Hua claimed that he owns the rights to and reported it to eBay. We researched Tom Hua and he does not even sell on eBay, in fact, he did not make the claim himself, he had someone else do it. A person named John Williams, of some flunky website called www.ebookwholesaler.net/.
Here’s the paradox; the product in question was 100% solely created and packaged by our company. I created the package and all auction page graphics. We designed it from scratch. Every last detail was designed by our designers.
This was just an obvious oversight on eBay’s part right? Wrong! They have actually taken the side of these thieves and not even considered the facts. We designed this package for our customers, and we give them resell rights to the package so that they may resell it and keep the profits. We have been doing business this way for 5 years.
After numerous attempts to get a phone number to call for eBay they finally gave us this one. 1-800-322-9266, but don’t bother it will just refer you back to the eBay website; you will NEVER get a human response.
We began to research the net for others that have experienced similar problems and found literally thousands of victims of eBay’s irresponsible business practices. I promise you this, there is a zero loyalty factor with eBay and it’s customers. The sad part is that they are buying up all of the competition like shopping.com, rent.com and the like.
We are going to begin an advocate forum website very soon to give those who would like a voice and want eBay to be aware that we will not go away quietly.
